Cornwall Mental Health Support Team Steering Group
Recently, we joined our first Steering Group meeting with the Cornwall Mental Health Support Team (MHST). This valuable organization focuses on supporting primary school children and some Year 7 students with their mental health needs.
The MHST works closely with schools, young people, and parents or carers to provide essential mental health services. As a result of this new partnership, we will now participate in their Steering Group meetings three times yearly.
We are especially excited about future collaborations with the MHST. Their work in peer mentoring, support services, and early intervention is truly outstanding. Moreover, they maintain an active Facebook page (Cornwall MHST) where you can learn about their current initiatives.
