New Healthier Together website

Around six months ago, CPCF asked parent carers to share feedback on a new health and care website for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The Neurodiversity Hub information has now moved onto Healthier Together. This means the content may look different from before, but the aim is to make it easier for families and professionals to find and use.

You can visit the site here:

That website is now live.

The new website is called Healthier Together and has been commissioned by Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board. It brings together health and care information, advice, guidance and local pathway information in one place.

How to navigate the website

The first page you will see. Click on the age of your child / young person.

When you first use the website, you will be asked to enter a postcode.

This example uses the Young Person option.

Populating a post code

If you live in Devon but use Cornwall services, you may need to enter your GP or work postcode to access the Cornwall information.

This is a list of surgeries for a TR3 postcode. Choose your GP surgery. If you’re not with a surgery, you can choose any one.

You will also be asked whether you are a parent/carer or a professional. The website will then remember this for future visits.

Then, you will see your choices. You can change your decisions or – visit the website.

The content is organised into age groups:

  • Under 5
  • Under 12
  • Young person

You can move between the age groups using the tabs at the top of the page. On each age page, there is a banner that says “Neurodiversity”. Clicking that banner will take you to the neurodiversity information.

CPCF will continue to be involved in the development of this website. We will be attending monthly steering group meetings about the website and will feed back what parent carers tell us is working well, what is difficult to use, and what needs to improve.

We know that websites and information pages only work if they are genuinely useful to families. So please do take a look and let us know what you think. We’ll be putting together a three-question check in for our next newsletter and then running some focus groups. We hope to be able to strongly represent views of parent carers and genuinely work to make this website as accessible and useful as possible.

Your feedback will help us keep pushing for information that is clear, practical and useful for families across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
